The client for this project was a young male businessman. This was an unusual experience for the studio, as it is usually women who take the lead on the design in our projects. Working with him proved to be easy: we shared the same tastes and vision for the interior. It was clear from the outset that the project would be unconventional. In this 172 sq m flat, we used a large number of complex textures, materials and deep colours, without the usual light-coloured base.
The client readily supported our bold ideas, so the space is filled with bespoke pieces. Examples of bespoke solutions can already be seen in the entrance hall: a console table designed by Oleg Klodt and a pouffe from Poltrona Frau. All the doors and wall panels in the interior are made to order, and even the door handles are from the ‘RETROUVIUS’ collection of fittings designed by architect Oleg Klodt.
