Oleg Klodt Architectural Bureau was commissioned to create a design concept for a spacious penthouse at a Moscow club house by COLDLY. Working on interior design within the existing architectural space and turning a blank canvas into a dream home requires precision, flexibility, and intuition. Refined aesthetics of the penthouse combines luxurious materials, light and neutral colours and saturated colour accents to truly reflect the bureau’s style.
The architecture of the space is thought out down to every minute detail and filled with individually designed items, collectors’ furniture from leading global brands and fine objects d’art. Timeless neoclassic design, where traditions meet modern interior pieces, offers maximum comfort, solitude and class defining aesthetic. Wood burning fireplace creates an especially cosy atmosphere. Panoramic windows allow plenty of light and spacious terraces allow one to enjoy the captivating views of the historic city centre.
Oleg Klodt: “I am sure that one of the greatest values of life is the opportunity to get away from the noise and chaos of a big city, while living right in the city centre. This is exactly what this unique building in Khamovniki offers. While designing the interior of the penthouse we paid special attention to the quality of materials, creating an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. The timeless interior resembles the atmosphere of a luxury hotel featuring elegant classic architecture, a neutral colour palette and expensive natural finishing materials. Some elements give the apartment a modern and lively feel. Among them are bespoke art pieces, furniture, and designer lights by Lalique”.
Special attention was focused on the layout solutions, dividing the apartment into common use and private zones. The end result is not just any penthouse on the top floor of an elite building but a house on the roof with its own swimming pool and fireplace.Read more
