The fascinating structure of nature’s bizarre creation, the wood mushroom, inspired the design of the FUNGAS lighting collection. Slightly curved, translucent porcelain plates resemble the waves of caps growing on trees. Architect Oleg Klodt created the FUNGAS design exclusively for the VETVI brand.

The table lamp, created in the VETVI workshop, combines ceramics, glass and metal. The attention to detail and the intricacy of the fabrication turn FUNGAS into a light sculpture, ideal for interiors as an art object.
Oleg Klodt: “In this collection, the most difficult thing was to recreate the natural shape of amazing organisms that have been living on our planet for millions of years. It is important that VETVI dared to experiment, to try and improve the production technology. In the end, we were able to achieve exactly the visual image I had imagined on paper.

VETVI is a full cycle production. Only natural materials and alloys are used in production: brass, bronze, glass, ceramics. It is possible to customize each item by color and size. The factory was established in 2020, and during this time VETVI has not only become a full-scale production facility with an extensive dealer network, but also a well-known brand in the world of interior design. Our products are used by famous designers in Russia and abroad.

Oleg Klodt was born into an artistic family, which traces its origins back to Peter Karlovich Klodt, the sculptor of Imperial St Petersburg. It was unsurprising that Oleg, too, would follow a career connected with art. Oleg Klodt launched his architectural practice shortly after he graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute. Oleg Klodt creates classic interiors, characterised by their elegance and chic, and fashioned with innate intelligence.
